Socialization is critically important to human beings. When opportunities to connect with others are eliminated or reduced, the physical and mental effects can be sobering. Dr. Rebecca Boxer, chief of Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Medicine at UC Davis Health, will share medical insights and recent research on the effects of isolation and prolonged loneliness. There will be time for questions and answers.
Please enjoy coffee and delicious breakfast treats in the company of your UFC friends for 30 minutes prior to the presentation as we celebrate the value of community!
